How to collapse

• Right-click the sub-process
• Choose "Collapse sub-process" (or similar option)
• The sub-process shrinks to a single box with a [+] marker

What you should see

The top-level process now reads:

Claim submitted → Verify identity → [Assess and approve claim] → Process payment → Notify claimant → Claim resolved

Seven steps becomes five — and the middle one tells you *what* it does without showing *how*.

What you've learned
